Kiss Daniel Releases Statement To Clear His Name
Earlier on Tuesday this week, a statement issued by the record label G-Worldwide revealed that they were in the process of taking legal action against their former employee, 23-year-old Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe aka Kiss Daniel. Apparently, The label was upset at Kiss Daniel for launching his own record label ‘Flyboy Inc’ and using his stage name to perform.
However, the Kiss Daniel seemed unusually calm and unperturbed by the situation as he released a document issued by his lawyers on his Instagram post yesterday in an attempt to clear his name. See photos below
His solicitors L & A-Legal Consultants in a statement signed by Oluwaseyi Lawal (Esq) and titled ‘What G-Worldwide Entertainment Ltd will not tell you’ read that the Federal High Court in Lagos did not stop Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe from using the stage name “Kiss Daniel” but rather refused G-Worldwide Entertainment Ltd the application to stop him from performing, recording or using the stage name Kiss Daniel.
Kiss Daniel formally terminated his contract with G-Worldwide Entertainment Ltd via a letter dated 30th of October, 2017. According to the statement, The termination was done in compliance with the provisions of the Recording Contract between the parties.
Amidst his toils, The Yeba crooner strongly believes that it would be an sweet victory for him at the end of the day.
