The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has revealed that it remitted N7.8b to the Federal Government from the sale of forms during the year, 2016.
Registrar of the body, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, said this in Abuja when he received a delegation from National Officers Council of Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU).
He also dismissed the rumored reports that JAMB remitted N5.2 billion to the Federal Government during their period under review.
Oloyede reinstated that stakeholders in the sector need to “work together and push government to do the needful so that education would be where it ought to be.
“When we identify obstacles, we could push government to amend some areas to enhance the sector.
